Create, practice, design

I've been trying out ideas and just practicing techniques and a whole mess of stuff in between. I hope to have some kind of portfolio for the future and wanted to work on some ideas and a style maybe. It's just always good for me to try new things and expand my skills. So these are just some things i've made in the process. (they're all made from scratch from drawings and using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.)

Out in the Snow

I had some time today and felt like going exploring in the snowy woods and brought my camera. It was so nice to walk around in the snow and trees and follow trails around and see how much nature changes and still goes on even in frigid snow and cold. It really was so gorgeous out. Going out on an adventure brought me back to my childhood of just wandering through the woods with friends and just going wherever we wanted. I think we really missout when we can't find time to just wander in nature and take it in.

(Inspirations)

I've been expanding my art knowledge and creativity lately and have just felt so enlightened by tons of other artists works. I really want to try my hand at ink and watercolor illustrations but we'll see how it goes.

Little Love

My lovely girl is down for two whole weeks! its the longest we've ever been in the same place for. It's so nice to just have time to do anything and see anyone we want and to just feel what its like to be together and not long distance. I just love her to pieces:)

She is just a wonderful and beautiful little lady, i love her so much. i'm so thankful that we have each other. we always have a good time:)

ZOOOOOOOOOO!!!

This past weekend i took some dear friends up to Rochester with me to stay with my loveliest Jess Allyn:) (she's really just the best thing and i'm so happy to have her everyday)

Anywho, one thing we did was go to the zoo and since i love animals like crazy i had such a good time there:) haha. like really
I think the otter was one of my favorites just because they are so neat and have such personalities, not to mention how cute they are.
My little jess loves the phants haha, she was so excited.
I'm also a huge fan of tigers (like probably most people)but just because they are so strong and intense and really just beautiful animals.

haha, penguins, such silly little things.
These rhinos were so cool just cause i had never seen one before and their just so huge looking. sadly they just slept next to each other the whole time we were there.

I was so sad the polar bears were not outside till after we had to go:( never have seen one of them before, plus their habitat looked like so much fun to play in, for them or if we jumped the fence to go swimming haha.
OH, and here is a picture of me with my favorite thing in that zoo that day:)
Really though, just seeing these animals i can't help think of the creativity of our creator. He is the master designer and we are so privileged to have been made in his image to be able to create creatures and art on our own.i just love it
